дъга "Rainbow" The Youth House will host the Project "Duga" (Rainbow in Bulgarian) from January-March, 2008. The project will focus on cultural integration in youth. This project hopes to open a dialogue between 6 different ethnical groups living in Bulgaria. The project will kick off on January 15th with a press conference at the Youth House. Throughout the rest of the month, staff from the Youth House will be presenting the project to schools and community organizations around Sliven and recruiting participants. Promotional materials will be created for the project as well. In February the centerpiece of the project will take place: cultural evenings. These evening dinners will include presentations of each cultures' traditions, dances, music and food. It is our aim to widen awareness and acceptance of other cultures through these dinners. In March, discussion groups will be held throughout Sliven. Students and leaders will discuss what they've learned and create strategies for continued integration.
