Christmas Party and Show held at Nursing Home
In late December, 2007, the Youth House hosted a Christmas Party and Show for the residents of the Sliven Nursing Home. About 50 residents attended the show and 15-20 teens came to help bring Christmas cheer to them!
The show was led by two youth hosts. The show had many acts, including a guitar duet, a rap song, and traditional folk singers. At the close of the program, Dyado Koleda came to visit and brought gifts for all the residents! After this, the youth gave small gifts and delicious cookies to the residents.
Each resident also received a beautiful handmade Christmas card created by the youth. The residents were glad to receive the cards and gifts.
Before it was time to leave the home, the residents and some of the youth made time to dance the horo! A great time was had by all and Christmas cheer was!
